UAS TESTING, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SITE

The site, John Nichols Field,  (0CL3), also known by its military designation of Monsoor Field, is located just east of the Lower Otay Reservoir, east of Chula Vista, California.  It encompasses 40 acres of ideal UAS testing, training and development property, including a 2,000' paved runway. All airspace is Class G, including the hundreds of additional acres of flight area available to the west, south and east of the airport. 

Also serving as a skydiving drop zone and occasional ultralight site, the property includes classroom facilities, equipment lofts, storage areas, clean portable restrooms, freshwater, high-speed internet, hangars, plenty of parking, and areas ideally suited for private or confidential UAS operations.
